Bayou Cirque – Live

These images were taken during Bayou Cirque’s live performance at the Manship Theater in Baton Rouge, LA in 2019. One of the things I liked most was being allowed to go backstage to capture them getting ready. I actually used to be part of a Cirque troupe myself. Back in 2012 and 2013 I toured with Cirque Dreams based out of Florida. We toured the country in 2012 with the show Pop Goes the Rock and had a residency at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun, Mexico in 2013. I miss those days. So, it was nice kind of reliving it again through the eyes of the Bayou Cirque performers.

Along with these backstage and performance photos, I sprinkled in some artistic renderings. I used some of their performances and re-imagined them with their approval.
